The temperamental disciple. Passionate about all things. Even though he was flawed like all of us, he still held a special place in the Lords Heart. So much so that even though Peter denied his teacher and the hour spoken, 3 times; Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior saw fit to build His Church on Peter. Peter amongst James and John was present during many miracles, including the transformation, and Garden of Gasemone. It was in the garden, Peter chopped off the ear of a servant coming to cease Jesus. In all that passion to defend his master, that same night he denied Jesus, when being called a disciple. And later after the resurrection met Jesus in the Upper room and received the Holy Spirit with the other disciples. The conviction of his heart from denying love, hope, joy, grace, & peace, turned into receiving forgiveness, a renewed mind and spirit and being promoted to leading the way of establishing the Church of Jesus Christ. He was martyred like many of the other disciples. He didn’t find himself worthy of be crucified like Jesus, so he was done so upside down.
